Figure Skating
STARskate is Canada’s best-in-class figure skating curriculum taught by Skate Canada NCCP coaches. The program introduces participants to the basic figure skating elements and offers lessons in skills, free skate, dance, synchro, and artistic. As skaters advance through the program, skaters are introduced to more challenging figure skating elements. Skaters are offered performance opportunities through out the season. This program is offered to all ages however skaters must have passed the CanSkate Stage 6 or equivalent. Adaptive skaters who have the required skating ability are welcome. RisingSTAR
Skaters who have completed CanSkate 3 and are interested in pursuing figure skating. On-ice instruction in a 45 minute group format, skaters will work to complete the CanSkate program with an introduction to STAR (Skills, Tests, Achievement, and Recognition). Skaters must wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet until the completion of CanSkate 5. Registration fee includes all coaching fees. 2 Day Total Cost $350.
STAR 1
Skaters who have completed CanSkate Stage 6. Group lessons with individual performance opportunities. Skaters will be introduced to the STARskate program. 2 Day Total Cost $350.
STAR 2
Skaters working on STARskate 1 & 2 Skills assessments. Program offers both group and private lessons.
2 Day Total Cost $350.
STAR 3
Skaters working on STARskate 3+ Skills assessment and all adult figure skaters. Program offers both group and private lessons. 2 Day Total Cost $420.
